Great narration. You and Mur really lifted this story up. But my god, the emperor has no clothing. This story is silly, dumb, sophomoric crud. A waste of life’s precious minutes.
Well, I’m glad you liked the narration!! 🙂
I ended up listening to this twice. Once when it came over the AiSFP feed and then again when I listened through all of the Clarkesworld audio pieces. I enjoyed it both times. Unreliable (even insane) narrators played off of each other to tell a love story, woven directly into the tapestry of a dead and decaying world. Beautiful, like a flower growing amongst the remains of a rusty modern art sculpture. Or something. Also great reading.
