There are two authors with short term deals I’m compelled to share with you.
Zombie Fallout 2: A Plague Upon Your Family by Mark Tufo
I lose track of all the books this talented writer publishes, but I hear Zombie Fallout 8 is coming out soon. Of all the zombie fiction I’ve read, the main character of ZF is the funniest. He is a Marine with germophobia, a large gun safe, and a wife who terrifies him more than the zombies do (in a I love you, but I know you’re going to remember me taking your car to the zombie infested city and use it to win whatever argument you want down the road kind of way). While hilarious, it is also top notch scary zombie apocalypse fiction.
On top of getting this book for only $.99, Amazon then offers the audiobook on Audible for $2.99. The narrator Sean Runette is as top notch in his field as Mark is as a writer. No offense to Mark, but I won’t consume Zombie Fallout in any medium but audiobooks performed by Sean. He matches the character and comedic timing perfectly.
Audiobooks are my way of catching up on my to be read pile, but some are just too confusing to listen to. This is easy, fun, and one of the best zombie stories out there.
Tantor Media is running a big half off sale on audiobooks of Mark’s Zombie Fallout series. I hear it won’t last long.
Pennsylvania Omnibus by Michael Bunker
Michael is running a one day $.99 deal on this omnibus edition of his Amish SciFi novel, Pennsylvania (which you may remember him discussing on our podcast). His novel takes many beloved Science Fiction and Post-Apocalypyic tropes and adds his own survival instincts to a memorable and unique adventure. I can’t say much more because plot twists and mysteries abound. You won’t want to put it down.
The Pennsylvania sale is only on Kindle, but if you head over to Michael Bunker‘s website and sign up for his newsletter, he’ll have an offer soon for other readers. He treats his subscribers very well, trust me.
And because I’m also trying to make a living at writing, you can find my story, Scavenger, for $.99 as well.
