Ragnarok Publications, one of the premier small press publishers, has just acquired Per Aspera Press. Ragnarok has become known for stand-out dark fantasy novels and anthologies, having just released BLACKGUARDS: Tales of Assassins, Mercenaries, and Rogues. Having only started in 2013, Ragnarok has put out a phenomenal catalog of books. In 2014, they acquired Horror imprint, Angelic Knight. Now, and to the rejoicing shout of this science fiction fan, they are going to add their prowess to a new avenue of laser blasting space battles. Science Fiction is not dead, it’s just been RagnaRoked!

Ragnarok is committed to a smooth transition between companies, and looks forward to reprinting some of Per Aspera’s titles under the new imprint with new covers, as well as publishing new works a little later in the year.

Of particular interest may be that one of their books, Our Lady of the Islands by Shannon Page and Jay Lake, is set in Jay Lake’s Green universe.
